The assurance of excellence

Australia has a British based education system, and has a reputation of education excellence in many disciplines all over the world. Australia’s institutions are leaders in technology-based learning. As an example, language schools are fully equipped with language laboratories and it is absolutely common to see computer-assisted learning in every classroom.
Modern/new technologies are part of the high level education provided in Australia. To ensure the quality of Australian institutions and courses, the Government has set the regulations concerning education services to international students in legislation.
Institutions must be accredited and the courses they offer must be approved and listed on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS). Also, the National Code sets the behavior and duties of Australian institutions towards international students.

The best thing to do is if you arrive in Australia, is to look for a comfortable hostel in the heart of the city, look to the reviews and stay in a hostel for the first week or weeks. You can start looking for a comfortable accommodation, visit the place and neighbourhood, meet the roommates, discover the city and you can make your own decision where you want to live. It is recommended that students considering hostel accommodations options, look at two or three properties prior to make a decision. Many hostel are privately run and as such come under the Rooming House Act.
